Dominica Dunkwu – Principal/Solicitor

Ms Dunkwu, dual qualified in the England & Wales and Nigeria, is the principal of the firm. She has over 8 years experience in private practice work, specialising in General civil matters Immigration, Civil matters and Housing Disrepair matters. Ms Dunkwu has been working in these areas since she qualified and has helped numerous families/individuals in both Immigration and Housing Disrepair matters.

Ms Dunkwu qualified as a solicitor in 2013 after obtaining a 2:1 Law degree from Wolverhampton University. She further obtained a postgraduate degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University, London where she was awarded merit (equivalent to a 2:1). Ms Dunkwu commenced her legal career at LB & Co Solicitors as a paralegal and progressed as a caseworker and subsequently completed her training contract and worked as a solicitor in the areas of Immigration, civil litigation and Housing law. Whilst at LB & Co, Ms Dunkwu prepared and conducted proceedings in complex homelessness cases, possession/disrepair cases, civil litigation, civil injunctions and committal applications, anti-social behaviour orders (ASBO) and complex immigration cases.

Given Ms Dunkwu’s exceptional dispute resolution and negotiation skills, and as a supervisor at the housing department at LB & Co, she was able to use these skills to obtain substantial damages/compensation on behalf of clients in housing disrepair cases.
